Our Caravan Club CL Site is Located on a family-run dairy farm only 7 miles from Stranraer giving easy access to the Northern Irish Ferry Routes.
Peaceful and quiet with exceptional views, this is a nature lovers paradise with a glen on your doorstep, deer roaming near-by, red squirrels and both barn and tawny owls.
We have set up the CL to provide all your home comforts: laundry facilities, heated shower room, toilets, hot & cold water, handwashing facilities at waste disposal area & hardstanding pitches.
As caravanners ourselves, we know what is needed to make your stay the best that it can be. Dogs are welcome, of course, they need to be picked up after and be kept on leads around the site but with a 330 acre farm, there are lots of lovely walks in the area.
At the top of the hill above the farm, there are views across to Ireland and you can view the sea on three sides. For the children (and the young at heart), there is a small play area and of course, the opportunity to view a working farm 'up close and personal'. Our aim is to try and make your holiday the very best it can be so anything we can do to help, we will.
The local attractions are mainly focused on nature and the countryside. Whether your interest is gardening, walking, golfing, fishing or simply enjoying the scenery around you, your needs will be met here.
The area has some exceptional sub-tropical gardens -Logan Botanic, Castle Kennedy, Ardwell, Glenwhan & Dunskey.
There are beautiful sandy beaches in the area for children - and the young at heart! More traditional tourist attractions include Port Logan Fish Pond/Marine Life Centre, Creetown Gem Rock Museum, Bladnoch Distillery, Mull of Galloway Lighthouse, Glenluce Abbey & Monreith Animal World. You are also only a 'hop, skip & a jump' from Ireland and some excellent day trips.
The best thing about this part of Scotland is that once you arrive, you won't want to go home.
